Last November, we sent our Construction for Change Project Managers (PMs)Ryan and Christina to the Village of Shohrok, Raghogarh, Madyha Pradesh, India to work with our project partner Optimize Health on the next 30/30 Project Clinic. This pilot clinic will provide care for over 5,000 people and is the first of five proposed clinics in the area. Together, these will serve the 235,000 people in the Raghogarh region of Madhya Pradesh. 70% of India's 1.3 billion people live in poverty, and with that abject level of poverty comes great need for affordable accessible healthcare. This clinic is the first of many steps our partners at Optimize Health and Pragati Manav Seva Sansthan are taking to close that gap.The new Optimize Health clinic, utilizing a combination of dedicated Community Health Workers, innovative technology, and streamlined protocols, will be able to provide high-quality care in one of the poorest states in India. Utilizing a combination of dedicated Community Health Workers, innovative technology (such as mobile apps, interactive cloud-based medical records, and more portable diagnostics), and streamlined protocols, this clinic will be able to provide high-quality care in one of the poorest states in India. The clinic's substructure is 80% complete, including the first floor slab, and the beginning of electrical and plumbing installation. We couldn't be more pleased with the progress of this 30/30 Project clinic and look forward to a projected finish date in late March. Check back soon for more updates!
