#NoMomLeftBehind this Mother’s Day
We are thrilled to invite you to join us this Mother’s Day in bringing maternal and child healthcare to Togo, West Africa with the #NoMomLeftBehind Campaign! As we prepare to celebrate our own mother’s and those who serve as mother-figures in our lives on May 8th, we ask you to join us in honoring motherhood around the world by supporting the #NoMomLeftBehindcampaign.
As a part of this initiative, the 30/30 Project has the opportunity to partner with Hope Through Health to build a maternity ward in Northern Togo, voted for three years in a row as the "saddest place on earth." The lifetime chance for a woman to die in childbirth in the US is 1 in 1800; in Togo it’s 1 in 46. This is unacceptable. Skilled medical care before, during and after childbirth can save the lives of women and newborn babies, and that is exactly what this maternity ward will provide.
Let's make sure this Mother’s Day - as we set out to celebrate the lives, love and sacrifices of moms around the world - that there is No Mom Left Behind.
